The Drawings were created from variations of curves and lines, combined in various ways and used to produce hundreds of different plastic templates that can be paired in thousands of different ways. The system of templates is expandable to produce billions of unique Drawings, and a simple numerical system was devised to ensure that no two Drawings will ever be alike.
