"The project was really to expand the notion of dance. Everything from gesture and facial expression to the sort of non high-art versions including burlesque and striptease and body dancing...I used everything I could find of Martha Graham and then found all of these other clips where people used the word Martha in film...people saying things about Martha, using Martha Stewart."
