"For us, the idea of having a work that has contradictions is very important—when, in affirming something, it includes itself and attacks itself. How can you put together all of these things that have nothing to do with each other? You use glue! Glue can be an idea, a word. You can use an ideological glue."
"False leads, loose ends- there are open ends or ruptures in the narrative loop. One would be the sound of the car driving away when she leaves this place. She leaves the loop, she leaves the situation while the camera continues to circle. We’ve passed through these thresholds which seem to be linear. It seems like we’ve not stopped circling this place. However, where could she have gone in such a short amount of time? It intimates that the pictorial time that we suggest is passing is not unfolding as real time."
