"I’ve been able to do two projections in Venice. The water in cities like Venice and Florence amplifies the projections. It will make another copy or two or three of the text, and so we’ll have the text backward and forward and backward again. It seems accurate to have the text legible and knowable and then- a second later- to have it in a form that’s almost unrecognizable. That’s like being able to get or not get the meaning."
