"I use a lot of repetition. And it becomes a filmic way of talking because as you put the same image after the other, even though it’s the exact identical image, everyone sees something changing from one image to the next."

"I’m also working on more fragmented pieces- of body parts that sprout from mounds, that have on tube socks or sneakers. They’re not obviously attached to any body that we would recognize as a body. I’m also still very interested in looking at those structures and that way of dealing with the figure as part of this larger conglomerate."
