"For me, art is a network. It’s about taking one site and trying to connect it to another. And the imagery that goes between them is the art. It’s not actually the sites. It’s the kinetic energy between them. I’m always moving. I’m just an intense person, always in motion, but my art practice is very detailed. That’s a way of slowing myself down so that I can hear myself think- so I can hear the voices a little more quietly. Sometimes I find that the quieter voice has a more interesting idea- if I can get to it."
