"I didn’t know that they would be successful as big pictures. I was kind of afraid when I went to the lab for the first time to see them; I thought they might start to break down digitally. And maybe, I thought, they should be subtle. I don’t know if that’s just me—as a woman you sort of want to have things a little subtler than out there, in your face—but I was happy with how they looked."
