"I took the image of Masha Bruskina from one of the most famous series of photographs of World War II. It shows a young woman, and others- Russian partisans who were victims of the Gestapo. They were not tried- just as it seems to be with our prisoners in Guantanamo. I have been so moved by that photograph and, knowing what it was, I have used it a lot."
